MY STORY
My name is Gloria Haywood and I LOVE to bake. Just to tell you a little about myself and my journey, I am a Northern Girl in a Southern World. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and live in Charlotte, NC. I started baking honestly out of nowhere (well Holiday's with Sweet Potato Pies YUMMY!) and baking for my congregation Faith Destiny Outreach Ministry (who is also my taste testers) and from there I realized how much I enjoyed baking, and it became a niche for me. SO I started with Cookies n Cream Parfaits in a Jar and then made from scratch Cakes in a Jar; needless to say the made from scratch (with homemade frosting also) Cakes in a Jar was a HIT! and because I like "little cute things," and to make it personalized I decorate the jars. Now, to backtrack a little after realizing this is something I want to do and enjoy it, I prayed and asked God if this is for me, how will I Market myself. My faithful God said to "Create the Opportunity". In doing so my Best Friend had an event and that's where I first presented my cakes in a jar and cake pops. Everyone was so pleased and enjoyed them. I gained confidence. I then had an vendor event as I also sold Paparazzi Jewelry at the time, and I sold the cakes and parfaits in the jar at the event, again they was a HIT, I took them to work and again HIT. Next I started to progress with the Cake Pops which I LOVE to do because it show my creative side that I never knew I had. Now on to other awesome ideas and creativity that have been manifesting over some time. BUT GOD spoke through my Pastor and gave the congregation Habakkuk 2:2 Write the Vision and make it Plain. My Pastor who is now my Apostle Patricia Brown always told us when God give the Vision he will make the Provision. So as I do what I LOVE and have Faith that God will make the Provision, I will succeed with satisfying everyone's Sweet Tooth in a Fancy way! Love Always!
